Term 1 Week 8

Life Education Van

Last week at the Life ed van we learnt about moving to a new school, making friends and feelings.

We learnt about bulling and moving to a new school. I enjoyed it because we got to watch video and we got to answer questions I am looking forward to next years visit to the van.

Term 1 Week 7

Youthtown Sports

Last week at Youthtown we were learning to do underarm throws.  At first I wasn't so good but i kept trying and at last my team was the first to knock the wicket and the cones down.  We are doing sports with Youthtown today again and and I hope I'm good at that too. But if I am not good at it I hope I have a fun time anyway.

My Pepeha

This week we have been drawing and

colouring our pepeha .I enjoy doing this because

I like drawing and I think i did a good job colouring 

I am almost finished colouring.  After we finish we have to type up our pepeha,

take a picture of our selves glue it on to our art I think I will be finished in a few days. 

African Praise Poem

My Reflection

I have been learning to write an African Praise poem.

I found this work hard because I have never thought

of an animal like me.  I found this interesting

because I have never thought if a natural occurrence

or an animal like me.  My next step is to use better words.

Hi my name Tanielle this is my year 5 learning blog.  This year I am in room 28/29.  My teachers are Mrs Melville and Mrs Graham. I enjoy art, reading, swimming and drawing.                                        I have been learning to relate to the charters in the text.
                             We have been reading George's Marvellous Medicine. I thought of some words
                             to describe Grandma in the story. I found this work tricky because I couldn't think
                              of alot words.My next step is to think of more words.
